Some bonds remain intact ... no matter how loosely entwined. A familiar face ... welcome back.
My membership expires in about 15 days. Should I renew it? Should I even keep this account? I don't log in often after all.
Logged in after a month or so. I see many changes ... some good and some bad.
To say that I have nothing to look forward for here would be an insult to my friends here .... should I then say that the place offers no entertainment? Confused .... or maybe Im just bored and tired.
The new bookcase is filled :) with my love for novels ... and some of my mother's cookbooks. I need more space >.

Evidently, you log on enough to have come across My profile, at least. But then, it's all in how one sees it, I would suppose.
Besides, as far as I'm concerned, one can only have "too many" books, in one case: They have few ways to transport them all.
I used to have a library so damn large that it put the local Public Library to shame, in allot of ways. But then, most of the books I kept were encyclopedia sets, a few dictionaries (don't ask why), and enough Victorian and "old western" era books to take up the streets of New Orleans. "Why?" Just because I love my 'old' books that much. Lol
At least reading offers a better knowledgeable profile than watching television all the time. There is a reason for which I still call Television the "Idiot Box". It doesn't so much educate, as much as "melt brain cells" for entertainment.
